Spicy Baked Potatoes

Spicy Baked Potatoes If you like things spicy, you can’t miss out on this wonderful masterpiece. I especially love them with a nice meat and bacon sandwich. To prepare this recipe, we need to make our own spiced breadcrumbs. This requires the use of many spices such as curry, sweet and smoked paprika, garlic powder (or a crushed clove), rosemary, salt and pepper. As I explain in the recipe notes, if we want a crispier potato, we can add a few tablespoons of Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumbs.

  • 1 tsp sweet paprika

  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon curry powder

  • Q.B. Salt

  • Add the flavoured breadcrumbs and mix with a spoon (mix the potatoes until the breadcrumbs are evenly distributed).
  • Place the potatoes on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.

  • You can add a few spoonfuls of Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumbs for extra crunch and flavour.
